How We Work with Insurers & Loss Adjusters

1. Initial Contact & Site Inspection

Call us or your insurer refers us. We attend site within 24–48 hours (emergency make-safe within 4 hours if required). We inspect, photograph, measure, and prepare a detailed scope of works.

2. Quote & Scope Agreement

We provide a line-item quote aligned to the loss adjuster's scope or insurer's scope template (e.g. Rawlinsons, Napier & Blakeley rates). If scope is insufficient, we flag additional items and quote variations in writing before proceeding.

3. Approval & Mobilisation

Once insurer/loss adjuster approves scope and quote, we mobilise. Typical lead time: 1–2 weeks for standard repairs, 2–4 weeks for complex/multi-trade scopes. Emergency make-safe starts same-day or next-day.

4. Repairs & Documentation

We complete repairs to pre-loss condition (or betterment if approved). Progress photos, daily logs, variation requests in writing. We coordinate trades (electricians, plumbers, glaziers) if required.

5. Final Inspection & Invoicing

We invite loss adjuster or insurer for final inspection. Handover with before/after photos, itemised invoice, and warranty certificate. We invoice insurer directly (if authorised) or homeowner invoices insurer with our tax invoice.
