Good questions

Do I need council approval?

Most kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovations are exempt. Structural changes or added floor area need a CDC or DA — we identify what applies and manage the whole process.

Can we stay in the house during the work?

Yes for most single-room jobs — we seal the work area, protect floors and clean up daily. For whole-home or asbestos work we'll recommend moving out temporarily.

How much will it cost?

What if you find problems once you open things up?

We stop, photograph it, and give you a written variation within 48 hours. Nothing proceeds until you approve in writing.

What warranty do I get?

Home Building Compensation cover (6 years structural, 2 years non-structural) plus a 12-month defects period — on every job.

Can you help with design and finishes?

Yes — Brad recommends layouts and finishes on the site visit, or we bring in a designer at our trade rate. Bring your Pinterest board.
