Our Team
Skilled, reliable, and proud to build on Country
Koori Constructions brings together experienced builders, qualified carpenters, and project managers who know the Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter regions inside out. We're a tight-knit crew — every person on every job is accountable, respectful, and committed to delivering work we're proud to put our name on.
Brad Robinson
Director & Founder
Brad is a proud Dunghutti and Wiradjuri man, raised on Darkinjung Country on the New South Wales Central Coast. With 15+ years in the building industry, Brad founded Koori Constructions to create a 100% Aboriginal-owned building company that delivers exceptional work across residential, commercial, government, and community sectors.
Brad holds NSW Builder Licence 477499C (Unrestricted) and is a HIA member (1375563). He's built everything from family home renovations and granny flats to Defence facility upgrades, Aboriginal health clinics, and youth justice centre maintenance projects. Brad's approach is simple: communicate clearly, show up on time, deliver what you promised, and treat every client's property like it's your own.
Under Brad's leadership, Koori Constructions has become a trusted subcontractor to tier-1 builders like Barpa, BGIS, and Dotbuild, and a direct contractor to Aboriginal community organisations, NSW Government departments, and homeowners across the Central Coast and Hunter.

Koori Constructions operates with a lean, experienced crew. Depending on project size and scope, our team includes:
Site Supervisors
Licensed builders who manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate trades, ensure compliance, and maintain direct client communication.
Qualified Carpenters
Trade-qualified carpenters with 10–20 years experience in residential and commercial carpentry, formwork, and structural framing.
Apprentices
We're committed to training the next generation of Aboriginal builders. Our apprentices work alongside qualified tradies on real projects from day one.
Project Administrators
Office support for quotes, compliance documentation, contract administration, and client liaison.
Subcontractors & Specialist Trades
We work with a trusted network of licensed plumbers, electricians, concreters, tilers, painters, and other specialist trades — many Aboriginal-owned or Indigenous-employed.
How We Work
Every person on a Koori Constructions site commits to:
- Respect: We work on Aboriginal Country every day. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners, respect our clients' homes and land, and treat every worksite with care.
- Reliability: We show up when we say we will. If something changes, we communicate immediately — no ghosting, no excuses.
- Quality: We don't cut corners. Every fix, every join, every finish is done properly — because our name and reputation are on the line.
- Safety: Every worker goes home safe, every day. We maintain White Card compliance, Safe Work NSW protocols, and a zero-harm culture.
- Community: We prioritise Aboriginal employment, subcontractor opportunities, and giving back to the communities we work in.
