Coverage: Residential building work over $20,000
Required under NSW Home Building Act 1989. Protects homeowners if builder dies, disappears, or becomes insolvent during or after construction.
Public Liability Insurance
Coverage: $20,000,000
Insurer: Available on request
Covers injury to third parties and damage to third-party property on site or as a result of our work.
Contract Works Insurance
Coverage: Up to $2,000,000 per project
Covers damage to the works during construction (fire, storm, theft, malicious damage).

Work Health & Safety (WHS) Compliance
All Koori Constructions sites operate under NSW WHS Act 2011 and WHS Regulation 2017. Every project includes:
- Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for high-risk tasks
- Site-specific inductions for all workers
- Toolbox talks (weekly or as required)
- Incident reporting and investigation procedures
- PPE requirements enforced on every site
White Card (General Construction Induction)
All Koori Constructions staff and subcontractors hold current White Card certification (CPCWHS1001 — Prepare to work safely in the construction industry).
Quality Assurance
Koori Constructions operates a structured QA process for all projects:
- Pre-start site meetings with client + head contractor (where applicable)
- Stage inspections and hold-point sign-offs
- Defects register and rectification tracking
- Practical completion checklists
- Handover documentation (warranties, manuals, compliance certificates)
